Safe Volunteer Opportunity for Kids
From Growing Up in Santa Cruz: Community members have asked how they can help reduce some of the loneliness and isolation the residents in care facilities are faced with right now.  One way is to send “Thinking of You” cards, postcards, and cards with pictures such as flowers, landscapes, animals, etc.  Most people like to receive mail, and this will be a way to help brighten their day and let them know they're remembered. Cards can be sent to the following address.  We will then distribute them to care facilities in the area.
FSA, I-You Venture, 104 Walnut Avenue, #208, Santa Cruz, CA  95060.
Wireless Internet Options
These are two wireless ISP companies that may be able to provide coverage to your house if you live in some of the more remote areas of Santa Cruz County's north coast. Pacific Elementary does not endorse these or any other companies; rather we are just trying to make sure that all students can access their online schooling options.
