Congratulations Ms. Postie!
Congratulations to our very own Lori Postie for being named “Exceptional Special Educator” by the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). If those terms don’t mean anything to you, it is like she is special education teacher of the year for the county! Yay, Ms. Postie!
Board Trustee Selected
Congratulations to Cari Napoles for being selected to join Gwyan Rhabyt and Don Croll on Pacific School's Board of directors, replacing Leanne Salandro, who is moving away from the district. "It Is Not Easy Being Green"
That is what Kermit the Frog said, but he never worked with the incredible group of parent, students and community volunteers at Pacific School! Last year at this time we were left with a weedy dirt hill side and a broken irrigation system. Over the past year, collectively we:
Thanks to all those that attended one of the many workdays last summer and school year to green our school yard space! Kermit might be right, it isn't exactly easy work greening a schoolyard with only volunteers and very little budget, but it is worth the effort.
See photos of the the work we have done documented on our garden website www.pacificschoollifelab.com

Your support is needed! Last year our Garden Tea raised $900 to offset declining grant awards. Donate today to Parents' Club PSF to support this great program. Donate at www.pacificschoollifelab.com or send check payable to PSF Parents' Club, PO Box 358, Davenport, CA, 95017.
