Mr. Guerrero's Background
I attended Sacramento State to get my undergraduate degree for Liberal Studies for Elementary education while also coaching high school varsity tennis as well as working at the campus Children's Center as an assistant teacher for preschool aged students. After graduation I student taught in South Sacramento for a kindergarten class to earn my teaching credential. After graduation I began working in Roseville City School District teaching 6th grade the last two years. While doing so I lead my PLC for a math essential standards committee and a science curriculum adoption process. I look to continue learning and growing at Pacific with you all.
Mr. Guerrero's Teaching Philosophy
I believe in assisting students find something that they enjoy doing and fostering a joy for learning together. I focus on meaningful interactions for student to student and student to group to take place to prepare them to be impactful members of their community. While becoming proficient in the standards for their grade level I look for opportunities to make the process as real world applicable as possible to allow them the ability to face real world issues and tackle them together.
