Creativity Club
The Creativity Club is a free* after-school program for students interested in art and creativity. Students will be introduced to art projects, creative writing prompts, and body movement activities that encourage self-expression and positive collaboration. We will primarily meet in the computer lab/library, though we'll also spend time outdoors. Join Ms. Glucs for an hour of art and fun on Wednesdays and Fridays! Please note that the Friday afternoon meeting for 4th-6th grade will have a focus on student filmmaking and creating the school yearbook. All students are welcome and may drop in for any days that suit their schedule. Classes will be first-come-first-serve with a limit of 10 students in TK-Kinder and 20 for other grades. Wednesday Schedule:

*NOTE ABOUT FEES: While the Creativity Clubs themselves are free, after-school recreation before or after club meetings is subject to the rec fee structure. For Creativity Club meetings times that are not immediately after class gets out, student will be signed into rec, then signed out of rec to attend creativity club. If they are not picked up at the end of creativity club, they will be signed back into rec. The fees due, if any, will depend on whether your family qualifies for rec rate A, B, or C and the number of minutes of rec utilized. |
Introducing Ms. Glucs
Hello! My name is Jenna Glucs, and I am excited to be joining Pacific Elementary this year as part of the independent studies program as well as the after-school Creativity Club. I grew up in Santa Cruz and live here currently with my husband and almost one-year-old son. My teaching background is in high school English, which I taught at Watsonville High and Albany High in the Bay Area. I am really looking forward to continuing my teaching journey at the elementary level and getting to know students from TK-6th grade. I love reading, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time outside. I am eagerly awaiting the start of this school year so I can get to know the Pacific Elementary community! Creativity Camps
On a few day camp days, Ms. Glucs will offer creativity camp. Watch the memo and bulletin boards for details. |
