Wednesday 9/9 5:30 Back-to-School Night This is for adults to learn about the upcoming school year. Please leave children at home. Tuesday 9/15 5:30 PSF Community Meeting Join us to get updates, build community, and fill funding gaps! All are welcome. Thursday 9/24 School Picture Day Turn in your Photo Order Form at the office if you would like to buy pictures. 
New Absent or Tardy Form
New this year - if your student is absent or tardy you are encouraged to complete the handy form found on the green button at the top of the home page. Do so by 9:00 each morning, save staff time and effort, and earn a gold star next time you come into the office! 
Tired of Driving? Consider the Metro Bus!
If you’ve been considering sending your child on the school bus, we encourage you to give it a try! The more families who ride, the more we can reduce our school’s carbon footprint and build community. More info about routes. Planning to send your child on the bus? Please join our parent-organized WhatsApp group to sign up as a low-key parent chaperone—once a week, once a month, or whenever you’re able—to ride along with the kids to school. Questions? Reminder from Mr. Gross: Device-Free Campus Policy
Electronic Devices: Students who bring cell phones, smart watches, or other electronic devices to school must keep them turned off and out of sight during school and After School Recreation hours. Students are never allowed to contact parents or anyone else through their personal device during school or recreation hours. Communication with parents must be handled through teachers or office staff. When electronic devices, including smart watches, are visible during school hours, they will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day. Parents, if you receive a direct communication from your child during school hours, please tell them that they are violating school policy and they need to put their device away and talk to a staff member to use the office phone. This process allows staff to know what is going on with our students. Thank you so much for partnering with us to keep our campus a healthy space for kids to learn and play! |
