School Cookbooks Make Great Holiday Gifts
Your students have enjoyed the delicious meals from FoodLab.  Bring the recipes home by purchasing a FoodLab cookbook.  All sales support the school lunch program.

Pacific Elementary's FoodLab The Kitchen Classroom Cookbook is available in the office for $20 each.  

The Davenport Days Cookbook and the Farmer's Grow Our Food Cookbook are available in the office for $5 each.
Spread the Word - Fill the School!
Have friends or siblings interested in attending Pacific? Interest forms for 2024-25 are now available. Also, there will be an open house Wednesday, January 17, 5:00-6:00 for prospective new families and returning families interested in learning more about other grades.

​We're funded based on attendance. New families help keep our programs strong.
Volunteers Welcome and Encouraged!
  • If you want to help in the classroom, please sign in at the office first, and preferably communicate with the teacher beforehand, so the teacher can plan a role/job for you.
  • If you are handy, please speak with Mr. Gross. He has a long list of things that need to be done, some of which require skills and tools. 
  • Kris has lots of tasks that need attention in the garden, you don't always need a green thumb.
  • And if you find yourself on campus with a few minutes to spare, you can probably spot a task that needs doing and doesn't need direction (e.g. weeding, picking up trash, sweeping wayward woodchips, etc.).

Sick? COVID+? Exposed? Confused?
There have been some COVID cases on campus during the first week of school. Please go HERE to get the updated information about how to handle kids with symptoms, positive test results, and/or exposures. Our guidelines are based on the county guidelines.

Also, it is fair to assume there is a strong likelihood of being exposed to Covid-19 if you or your child is in public, including here on campus. We will not be sending out individual notifications.

PSF/Parents' Club Info

Families, Welcome to 2023-24!!!
Next PSF Parents' Meeting Tues 12/12
All parents are encouraged to attend our next PSF Parents' Club Meeting, Tuesday, Dec. 12th at 5:30pm via Zoom. This is a great way to meet other families and get involved with your school! You can find a list of all PSF meetings dates for the school year and link to meeting are here.
PSF Dates and Deadlines
Starting November 17 - Tea Towels are able to be pre-ordered now until we sell out. 

November 21st at 9pm - Order spirit gear before this time to have spirit gear before December. 

December 1st - Order Flower Power Fundraiser before December 1st to ensure holiday gifts arriving to your family and friends. 

December - Date is pending.  Santa Photos at the Roadhouse. Keep an eye out for details forthcoming. 

We need your help for Bid and Sip and Bingo Night donations!
If you know an artist, winery, brewery that would donate towards our Bid and Sip event.  Please let us know if you have a donation to bring in.  Donations for Bid and Sip will be displayed in the office in the month of January. 

Any donations other than art, winery and brewery can be donated towards our Bingo night fundraiser in April.  

All donations can be brought to the school office.  We have a letter for donation request if you know of any place you own, like to frequent or people you know and would like to invite them to support the school.  Thank you!

Tea Towels are ready to pre-order now until we sell out!
The 2023-2024 All school tea towels can be ordered at pacificschoolfoundation.org.  We will have a limited number of each color so if you would prefer one color, preorder now!  The students, staff and teachers are busy working on their self portraits to make this tea towels great!  The tea towels are expected to arrive in December.  

Tea towels are $20 each if you purchase only 1 or 2.  If you purchase 3 or more tea towels, the cost per tea towel is $18 each.  The colors available are Black, Navy Blue and Red.  Please specify. 

Santa Photos!
We are working on scheduling Santa Photos either on December 5th or December 7th after school.  Keep an eye out for more details.
Popcorn Volunteers
We are in need of Volunteers for Popcorn Wednesdays! 

Volunteer for any Wednesday during the school year from 12pm until 2pm to help support a student favorite midweek treat.  Please let Sam know which dates you are available at president @ pacificschoolfoundation.org

If we are unable to find volunteers, we will not be able to have this fun treat for the students!
