The Santa Cruz Metro provides bus service directly from the West Side of Santa Cruz to Pacific School in the morning and returning back to Santa Cruz in the afternoons. All school-aged youth can ride the Santa Cruz Metro buses for FREE. More information.
We encourage our families to use the bus as much as possible. Using the bus creates the following benefits:

Route 40 Morning Schedule:
- Riverfront Area 1 - 8:00 a.m.
- Santa Cruz High School - 8:03 a.m.
- CVS on Mission - approximately 8:05 a.m. This is the usual place for many Pacific students to get on the bus.
- Highway 1 and Western Drive - 8:08 a.m.
- Pacific School in Davenport - 8:18 a.m. School starts at 8:30 a.m. for grades 1st-6th.

For 1:10 Dismissal on Wednesdays:
- Catch the bus at Pacific School - 1:17 p.m. Families do NOT need enroll their student in the after school recreation program. A staff member will always support students in boarding the bus, and almost all days a staff member will ride back to Santa Cruz with the students all the way to Riverfront Area 3.
- Mission and Swift - 1:29 p.m.
- Santa Cruz High School - 1:37 p.m.
- Riverfront Area 3 - 1:47 p.m.
For 1:10, 2:45, or 3:10 Dismissal:
- Catch the bus at Pacific School - 4:02 p.m. Families must enroll their student in the after school recreation program. A staff member will always support students in boarding the bus, and almost all days a staff member will ride back to Santa Cruz with the students all the way to Riverfront Area 3.
- Mission and Swift - 4:15 p.m.
- Santa Cruz High School - 4:22 p.m.
- Riverfront Area 3 - 4:32 p.m.
For 1:10, 2:45, or 3:10 Dismissal - LATE:
- Catch the bus at Pacific School - 5:17 p.m. Families must enroll their student in the after school recreation program. A staff member will always support students in boarding the bus, and there will be no extra fee for the 2 minutes of late pickup.
- Mission and Swift - 5:29 p.m.
- Santa Cruz High School - 5:37 p.m.
- Riverfront Area 3 - 5:47 p.m.
